Programs

"Our aim is not merely to make the child understand...but so to touch his imagination as to enthuse him to his innermost core. " -Maria Montessori

Our curriculum is carefully designed to help each child build a lasting foundation in academics while nurturing their social, emotional and physical development.  Accordingly, we encourage a child’s independence, self-motivation, and decision-making skills in each of these areas.  Through indoor and outdoor learning, children develop standards of courtesy, cooperation, self-control and respect for others— while also building upon their individual talents, interests and abilities.

Both our toddler and primary programs meet the individual needs and readiness of each child, consistent with Dr. Maria Montessori's demonstration that this produces greater results than a one-size-fits-all approach to learning.

Toddler Program (ages 18 months-36 months)

Instilling accomplishment, pride and independence is the goal of our Toddler Program.  Designed for children 18 months to three years old, our teachers lovingly guide our youngest students. This includes learning to care for oneself as well as the environment.

By the time your child moves into the primary program, they will be potty-trained, and well-poised to build on their knowledge in language, math, geography, culture, language and practical life skills.

Primary Program (ages 3 years- 6 years)

Our four-year Primary Program, which includes Kindergarten, prepares children for first grade.  The experiential and tactile environment allows children to engage in hands-on learning.   The Montessori educational environment encourages students to become independently motivated to learn by exploring the world around them.
